Instead of explanations, consumers are pointed to certifications. The emphasis on the front of a skincare product's packaging does not pair with the ingredient label on the back. We put things on our skin without understanding why they work, if they do. We are encouraged to buy a never-ending array of products, based on a ceaseless supply of buzz and hype.

We tailor skin health consultations to you and your family's needs. Whether you want to create a skincare regimen ideal for your needs, better understand the skin microbiome, understand the ingredient safety of products, choose safer household products, or learn what questions to ask when making skincare choices, we provide the expertise to make you a more informed skincare consumer. We do this because we believe you have that right, and because skincare companies rooted in science and genuine care should not need to hide behind their marketing.

Each skin health consultation is preceded by a discussion where we learn your specific questions and needs. We encourage you to share or bring products you are currently using, or thinking of purchasing. Consultations last for one hour, and may take place in-person at our downtown DC office, or via Zoom, whichever you prefer. Each consult is $125. This price reflects our expertise about the industry, and the time we invest before your session to prepare your tailored guidance. There is no obligation to purchase Persica Skincare products as part of any consultation, and no consultation will discuss Persica Skincare products, unless you request so.
